The Mobile Public Library will entertain families with spooky stories and scary tales in our Gazebo Garden. Details to come soon.
The Providence Foundation’s Festival of Flowers, presented by Wells Fargo, will begin celebrating its 25th Anniversary in a special way this weekend! Throughout the upcoming year, we’ll be hiding painted kindness rocks at various events throughout the city and the finders will receive a prize! Our first event will take place Saturday at Bellingrath Gardens and Home. Boo at Bellingrath will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring your little goblins and celebrate fall with inflatables, food trucks, live music and treats from local organizations and businesses.
Mobile Arc artists have created these beautiful rocks, graciously provided by Woerner Turf & Landscape Supply of Mobile, that will be hidden throughout the gardens. If you find one, take a picture and post on Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag FOF25 and tag Festival of Flowers. Turn it in at the green entry tent to receive a complimentary festival ticket and t-shirt. Keep the rock or hide it again for someone else to find! (Only the first finder will receive a prize.)
Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for clues on where our rocks will be hiding next!
